A new verbalissimo.com page presents the inscriptions of the Ulm Geese Gate tower, with photos, texts, translations, comments, and external links. See Geese Gate.

Inscriptions of Ulm: Former City Wall

In the eastern part of the medieval center of Ulm there is an important portion of a former city wall that has been transformed into a charming residential neighborhood after serving as a housing for the soldiers of the city, up to the beginning of the 19th century. A new verbalissimo.com page presents this former city wall and its environment, with the text and the translation of an inscription, a comment, and several photos. For details see Former City Wall.

Inscriptions of Ulm: Leaning House

This new verbalissimo.com page describes the Ulm Leaning House and its inscriptions. This house is less impressioning than the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy but it’s surprising that a hotel can exist in such leaning building. This house is located in the most picturesque quarter of the medieval center of Ulm. For more details, see Leaning House.

Inscriptions of Maspalomas: Christopher Columbus Rocks

In Maspalomas (Gran Canaria) there are two Columbus memorials. Yesterday I talked about the first one, which is a high column described on verbalissimo.com under Christopher Columbus Column. Now you can find the description of the second one, which consists in several rocks and barrels, under Christopher Columbus Rocks.

Inscriptions of Spain

This afternoon I’ve published my first pages on inscriptions of Spain on verbalissimo.com. For more information, see Inscriptions of Spain, from where you can reach the two other pages.

Schreiben Sie uns Ihre Meinung! Danke!
